“I wish not to wish any more” ……..No, no….It’s not me (I’m not that humble), that’s T who often keeps saying when ever he is asked about his wish.
But For me it’s too much to digest though I know that all these are material desires and giving up it means the ultimate pleasure to them who can practice it. (What the scripture says)
And there he goes on explaining how we suffer in our lives because of our own wishes.
What ever living condition we have in this life, was once wished by us only in any course of life (may be previous birth) and thus we have been granted this particular life with all these conditions…..OMG...It’s getting highly philosophical but off late I’ve also realized the same from my own experiences.
Many of my wishes are fulfilled in due course but the end result is so disastrous…..That I’m now scared to ask god for any of my wish ……because somehow I feel that even god needs specification. If you don’t give proper specifications then you may end up with a bad deal.
Here is one example:
Since my child hood I always wanted to come to abroad, to have a nice job, to roam around the world etc…etc (there are many).
So I came abroad, struggled awhile to get a decent job and finally got one even but then I ask my self is that what I wanted always…?? “Am I happy now”? Perhaps not. I had never thought in wildest of my dream to come to this desert…So what…! It’s not God’s mistake …He granted my wish and brought me to abroad. After all it was my fault that I didn’t mention him which country I wanted to go,…That…it s’ld not be a desert land,…That , it s’ld be a green place with lakes , mountains .. Bla, bla…
So you must specify your wish next time you ask for something although there is no guarantee that it makes you happy even if your wish is fulfilled to 100 % as per your specification(expectations)….“They say it is all frame of mind” but who cares …how can we stop wishing. But yeh I’m bit afraid now to put forward my wish list to The supreme lord , The Almighty as I don’t know where it w’ld end up again with the complete package deal ..Buy one Get one (hidden problems which we ‘r unable to see) Free scheme. So I have rather adopted the intelligent move (what I think) by delegating the task to God himself to choose for me, (as I can’t stop wishing) I just say “You know what is better for me so you decide and you give me accordingly”
I will try to be happy with that and I’ll not keep you nagging anymore. (To fulfill my wish)
