DESERT, DUST, DATES, AND DISHDASHA

I was so excited as the plane was approaching and about to land in Kuwait because finally I ‘m reaching my long awaited destination but as soon as it was near to the airport I could see the desert for the first time, my heart sank in, to see the cracked land ……I was asking myself “is this the place which I was waiting so long to reach”……

Then When I landed and saw these people in their  traditional Disdasha and women in Abaya (cover-all) I wondered why on earth people cover this much ….??????M y husband explained it’s the Islamic culture and according to this they should dress like this (mainly should hide the hairline). Some how I was also convinced…..

As we proceeded to our residence I found the only available date trees and came to know that it’s one of their daily edibles.

And what next..?  Within a few days I witnessed the sand storm .Everywhere heaps of fine dust ….and so I was trying to adjust myself amidst all these things and was trying to understand this cruel and harsh face of nature.

Some of the facts were revealing them selves and I was coming to my own way of conclusion that nature has its own arrangements always. Because I realized that what I considered to be a coverall and uncomfortable dressing is the most suitable for this climate. So in one way it’s not only the religion or culture, it’s the demand of the nature itself to wear such type of clothes to protect one from dust and harsh climate. Then later I came to know the benefits of dates and how it helps the human body against the dust.

So God has his own plans and arrangements for all situations. He takes care of all our needs irrespective of our location. And Apart from all he is the most efficient engineer and has designed every thing unmistakably……so moral of the story is  Never doubt in his creations…or in his plans.
